Review by hotel critic
As a fashion photographer who often frequents Italy for its luxurious design scene, my recent corporate retreat at Ambra Palace in Pescara proved to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel's proximity to the central station, shops, and the beach was ideal for a mix of work and leisure. The business center and complimentary newspapers in the lobby facilitated my professional needs, while the reliable Wi-Fi ensured seamless remote work. The 24-hour reception staff's exceptional service, including accommodating requests for hot water and luggage storage, elevated the overall experience. Despite the slightly dated decor, the hotel's cleanliness and charm were evident. The bar/lounge area provided a relaxed setting for networking or unwinding post-meetings.Though the breakfast was limited, the tasty pastries and hearty options sufficed. With a bit of renovation, Ambra Palace has the potential to reclaim its former grandeur. For business travelers seeking a convenient location and essential amenities, this hotel presents a solid choice in Pescara.
